2019 WAFU CUP: Ghana Goal Poacher Shafiu Mumuni Wins Golden Boot Award
Ghana Black Stars ‘B’ lost the 2019 ESPN WAFU Cup to Senegal through a dramatic Penalty shootouts after 120 minutes of 1-1 draw.
But there was one award that went the way of Ghana after striker Shafiu Mumuni won the Golden Boot award of the tournament.
Shafiu Scored four goals, including a hat-trick to emerge as the top scorer with most goals in the just ended WAFU tournament.
The Ashantigold goal poacher also wrote his name in the history books of the WAFU Cup after he became the first player to ever score three goals in a single game.
He was handed with the Golden Boot award during the closing ceremony that saw Senegal clinching the ultimate trophy.
