2019/20 GPL: GFA Announce Groundbreaking Initiative for Clubs and Coaches Ahead of New Season

The President of Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kurt E.S Okraku, has announced a groundbreaking incentive for Premier league, Division One league and Women’s league clubs ahead of the new campaign based on rankings of the teams at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

He made the revelation during the launch of the 2019/20 new season on Friday night in Accra.

Premier League top six coaches, Division One winning coach of each zone, Women’s League top three coaches, at the end of the season will be taken to Europe for attachment.

And in addition to the above remuneration the top six teams will also get monetary rewards at the end of the season.

There’s no doubt this novel initiative will go a long way to add more color to the domestic league and thereby giving it a competitive advantage.
