Golden Gloves 🧤! Angleoha Jerry wins Coveted Award in just ended UWRFA Div II League

The shot stopper emerged victorious in the keenly contested category with several Goalkeepers showing magnificent talents, skills and reflexes for their respective clubs.

The Wa Power SC Goalkeeper however stood tall with a whooping eight (8) clean sheets in twelve (12) games he has kept this season, giving him an edge over his colleagues.

Angleoha Jerry possesses the attributes of a modern day Goalkeeper, with accurate long passes and short passes as well that helps his side build easily from the back.

He conceded just two (2) goals in five (5) games in the Middle League, keeping three (3) successive clean sheets in the process.

He also has a very strong defense to thank for, with the likes of Yakubu Nuhu, Issah Baba Wahid, Ahmed Malik and Jerry Akaminko ensuring that the ‘We Can’ fraternity ends the season with a spot in the 2023/2024 Division One League season without a single defeat.
